Jurisprudence is provided for by various branches of law courts each competent to try different kinds of litigation depending on the nature of the legal questions raised.

The attorney is entitled to a fee fixed by law; the winning party is entitled to get such fees refunded by the other party. The amounts on the site "List of Legal Fees" shall give you some idea of the costs of litigation.

Finally, the case may be brought to the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) when civil rights have been infringed, be it by decision of the court, be it upon application of the party.
